Bali growth almost reaches 6%
In 2008 Bali’s economy grew by nearly 6 percent as reported by the Jarkata Post. It was seen as positive growth on the back of 5.92 percent in the 2007 period. Growth was slower than expected with Bali predicated to reach the 6 percent mark.
Taking into account the economic troubles in 2008, economists said the growth was considerably good. Nyoman Erawan and economist from the Udayana University said despite the hike in crude oil and recent economic crisis, this is pretty good.
