Jazz Market by the Sea’ is a cultural event where you can relax to the sounds of jazzy music and combined with market feel surroundings. The event will be held on the 1st and 2nd January 2011 from 2pm until 11pm at Taman Bhagawan Bali, the newest beachside venue at Tanjung Benoa. The event will go for 2 days with music, cultural and gastronomical bonanzas.
Get along and have some fun with all the family at this exclusive beautiful beach garden and enjoy a special weekend on the first week of New Year 2011. The event will host a variety of talented Indonesian jazz, fusion and alternative musicians, DJ’s, cuisine and drink (but no alcohol), shopping and other various activities likes music coaching, local instrument which will also be available in the kids area.
This event is to promote the growing Indonesian talents especially in Jazz, funk and world beat genre of music. The market idea itself is inspired by local traditional Balinese market; pasar seni, where the action of community centers around.
Admissions it is FREE before 4pm, FREE for kids under 12, and from 4pm onwards the cost is Rp30,000 per day per person.

With great success of Bali Film Festival BALINALE 2009, sees Bali again hosting a 2010 Film Festival. BALINALE 2009 success brought a selection of quality Local Indonesian and International feature films, documentaries and shorts, with lots of “you have to sees” like “Valentino”, “Tokyo Sonata”, and many others.
International Film Festival BALINALE 2010 will Premiere “EAT PRAY LOVE” starring the Academy Award winners Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem. The Sony Pictures projected blockbuster co-stars one of Indonesia’s primary film actresses and BALINALE co-founder Christine Hakim as a traditional healer ‘Wayan Nuriyasih’. One-third of the film is set on Bali and shows the visually rich culture and stunning locations.

Bali Golf Invitational Tournament 2010
Bali Golf and Country Club
The 2010 Bali Classic Oil Industry Invitational Golf Tournament will be held at the Bali Golf and Country Club again on Thursday 7th until Saturday 9th October 2010. Bali’s biggest golfing tournament will see more than 200 participants from all over the world take part in this great event.
During this event the Bali Golf and Country Club will be closed to the public for the three days the tournament is being held and will be reopened again for normal play from 6.30am on Sunday 10th October 2010.
The Bali Golf and Country Club apologizes for any inconvenience and looks forward to welcoming all its valued members and guest again for a great Bali golfing experience. Rock n Run with Hard Rock Hotel Bali

The Hard Rock Hotel is once again holding its annual 5km charity fun run, the “Rock-n-Run” with all proceeds from the event being donated to the children requiring cleft palate operations through the Seminyak based “Rotary Club Bali”. With the help of everyone participating or making donations to the charity will see less fortunate children with this disfigurement given a chance to live a normal and happier lifestyle.
The event will take place on Sunday, 10th October 2010 at 7.30am with registration starting at 6.30am. Pre-registration is available in front of the big Hard Rock Hotel Surf Board from 11.00am – 5.00pm from now until the 9th October 2010.
There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in various categories but the real winner on the day will be the all the children that can be given a chance at a better lifestyle.
The kids haven’t been forgotten on this day, the Hard Rock Hotel is also hosting “Kids Rock Colouring” also held on Sunday, 10th October 2010 from 9.00am – 10.30am on the Kuta Beach in front of the Hard Rock Hotel Bali with prizes also given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners, so come on down and enjoy the fun and make a day of it…together we can make a difference.

Kuta Golf Anniversary
With the third anniversary celebration coming up, New Kuta Golf would like to invite golf fanatics to take part in a weekend golf tournament with approximately 400 locals as well as visitors ready to participate.
The New Kuta Golf opened back in December 2008 and is considered one of the most impressive golf courses in Bali. It has become popular for various tournaments at both local and international levels. The Indonesian Open in February 2009 as well as the Ladies Indonesia Open in March of this year were all hosted at this Golfing venue.
Tee-off will be started by the Director and accompanied by management as well as Staff members. The 2nd and 3rd October will feature two shotgun starts followed by a Gala dinner on the driving range. Great prizes are to be presented to the winners along with door prizes including a Suzuki Automobile and three motorbikes!
A new membership program offering special rates and benefits will also be launched on the anniversary as well as be available during the promotion period 1st to 31st October 2010.
