Bali Exceed Tourist Arrival in 2012
According to Provincial Tourism Office’s data, number of tourists arrivals in Bali during the year 2012 is 2,888,864.
These data indicate that this amount exceeded the target of 2.8 million.
This number shown that Australian continue to rank first among all foreign followed by China, Japan, Malaysia and South Korea.
Up to October 2012, a total tourist of 684.312 Australia, China 267.353 and USA growing 33% visiting Bali.
For this year 2013, Bali has set a target of 3.1 million foreign tourists arrivals where this amount has been adjusted to supporting all aspects of Bali as a tourist destination.
In order to achieve this, a call for support to all tourism stakeholders and the public has been made including infrastructure project of highways and tol road that will be completed in July 2013
Head of Bali Tourism Office said that was good Bali tourist arrivals growing up by range of 10-12 per cent in the past five years.

Free Transport on Trans Sarbagita Buses – Bali Indonesia
Tourist as well as the public will enjoy free travel on Trans Sarbagita Buses from around early June to late August to coincide with major celebrations being held in Bali during this period. The celebration festivals are the anniversary of the 54th Bali Provincialon August 14, 2012, 34th Bali Arts Festival and 67th Indonesia Independence Day.
The bus route operated by Trans Sarbagita is from Batubulan to Kuta to Nusa Dua along the Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai. Bus conductors will still issue tickets when boarding the bus however no payment will be required
