Yes Kel… it is slowly changing… the progress of tourism. In the old days, Lake Batur area was a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and experience the tranquillity of Bali. Still attractive but it seems tourism development is inevitable.
I did the hot springs in 1975 could it be the same hot springs right next to the lake but in its natural state were swimming in them and not really inviting. Seems like some entrepeneur has changed all that! Looks great will visit when I go back after all these years.
Great review Kat, saw your review and took journey for some much needed relaxation. Great staff, friendly. Took an extra towel which came in handy. Amazing views.
My gfs and I went to soak off our tired muscles at this hotspring. I must say it was a wonderful experience, great staff service, free first welcome drink and facilities are clean including the towel provided (except that they only provide 1 towel).
The view of the mountains was simply breathtaking and very relaxing!
