Surf instruction at the surf haven spa retreat

Janine Hall , A New Zealander with an experience at fashion marketing careers and experience in living a demanding career in London, Sydney and Tokyo has opted to set up a surfing and yoga retreat for women, called Surf Haven

“I figured there had to be women like me who felt totally burnt out and wanted to just get away from everything and hang out with their friends,” says Hall

Hall had cherished Bali from the time when she visited Bali as a child. The surfing and yoga mixture seemed a fine combination with today’s women and with Bali, she stated.

Hall also sought after superior lodging. “You get to a point in life where you don’t want to share bathrooms or stay in bunks.” Accordingly, visitors stay at a resort in Seminyak accommodating two luxury four-bedroom villas.

Hall has engaged Samantha Gowing, the Australian nutritionist and award-winning restaurateur, who uses local food to design her menu and maximize the healthy side of eating.

There is a limit of eight woman to the seven day retreats/month.

The seven day package includes 15 hours of surfing instruction, accommodation, daily mediation and yoga, spa treatments (3 hours ), inclusive of all meals, full day tour of Bali and airport transfers.
