Bali New International Airport to Establish at Kubutambahan – Singaraja

Buleleng Regent Putu Agus Suradnyana said that the Central Government has confirmed the location of new airport construction at North is appointed at Kubutambahan, some 10 kilometers east of Singaraja in north .
Eligibility Test Area of Buleleng International Airport (BIB) Development  in North Bali, has been presented by Angkasa Pura with Ministry of Transportation to the Regent of Buleleng at a in Jakarta last weekend.
Furthermore, they are ready to discuss and meet with the Governor of Bali to create reports about the certainty of analysis.
After listening to the explanation from Transportation Ministry at Jakarta last weekend, the Regent stated that Kubutambahan has the highest score 92.50 higher than the two other locations in Buleleng regency, that is Gerokgak and Celukan Bawang.
From the proper test result that have been done, then will head off to plan of process to ensure continued of North Bali’s International Airport development in coordination with the Provincial Government of Bali, including setting up a counterpart fund.
From the information gathered, the plan of the International Airport in North Bali Development Project is the National Program. Even this year the Central Government had been scheduled to perform groundbreaking development in North Bali International Airport.  This airport will be constructed similar to the international airport in Lombok by utilizing one run way or the runway.
