Oktoberfest 2011 Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Bali
Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel presents a Bavarian culture by way of the Oktoberfest 2011 where you can enjoy ‘Beer, Music and Fun’. The annual festival will be held from 30th September – 2nd October 2011 in a Party Tent between Discovery Shopping Mall and Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel.
Oktoberfest is an yearly event, which takes place in Munich, Germany, from late September to early October. It is a popular event in Germany and one of the world’s biggest festivals with more than 6 million people attending every year.
The idea of Oktoberfest is to take pleasure in a beer and authentic German specialties along with a live Humpapa Band performance as well as a variety of exciting games & door prizes.
Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel’s Oktoberfest will be the most traditional, authentic and biggest Bavarian Party in Bali. There is no charge for admission and the festival is open to the public starting from 5 pm on 30th September and 10 am on 1st and 2nd October.

The 2011 Kuta Karnival Bali
Starting Friday 14 Oct till Sunday 16th Oct 2011, Kuta Bali will host its 9th Annual International Event, the ‘Kuta Karnival’ A celebration of Life
The theme for the 9th Kuta Karnival is “Light up the World”. This event will be officially opened by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia at 3pm on the 14th Oct 2011. The opening will also be grace with the presence of local government officials and community leaders in Kuta.
The event opening will be held at Jaba (terrace) Pura Segara Kuta with a great line up of performances, including traditional Balinese dances and a Kecak dance that will involve 250 dancers.
The opening ceremony will see everyone that attends be invited to take part in a Sunset Parade which will end at the Music and Food Festival Fiesta at the beach front of JI. Benesar Kuta.

The Stones Entertainment Centre - Kuta
Looking for something to do on Saturday evenings in Bali, why not get down to The Stones Entertainment Centre in Kuta for some live band action. The guitarist, Zul has teamed up with singer sensation Randy and a talented crew of musicians to form the Sterling Band.
The Sterling band will be performing live on Stage at The Stones Entertainment Centre rocking the house with a range of old time favorites as well as new releases and requests.

Carlton J. Smith – Entertaining Bali

Carlton J. Smith is an amazing entertainer and performer as well as a songwriter, producer and actor often referred to as “Soul Brother Number New”. He is well known for his hard-charging R&B acts. He has an impressive resume of successes. Starting in 2002 he produced, performed and hosted a series if R&B/Soul extravaganzas in New York City at the B.B King Blues Club & Grill. He took the same show to Las Vegas for a Four Week run at The Blue Note after which He began performing on the Groove Series Show at The Blue Note back in New York City.
The success did not stop there. Carlton J. Smith has performed at top Venues from Shanghai to London. He has also performed at the side of several great singers as well as stood in for the late James Brown.
