Padma Resort Bali Renovations
The Padma Resort Bali has up coming renovations, which will see the resort revamped and ready for you to enjoy your holiday on the wonderful island of Bali.
The renovations will take place in late October 2009 and be completed at the end of June 2010. The renovations will see the upgrade of the superior building and a new Lagoon Pool facility built.
The new renovations will offer more places for guests to relax and enjoy their stay. With a great green outdoors setting and a new lagoon pool to be built next to the superior building to complement the already existing infinity pool.
All safety precautions will be in place for this period with times allocated for project workers to complete their work and to also minimize the disturbance to guest while vacationing in Bali. All facilities will be still available for use so it’s business as usually at the Padma Resort Bali.

Flights to Bali Increased
Virgin Blue announced new flights to Bali. Increasing their services to Bali will take affect as of the 1st June 2009 with flights direct from Sydney and Melbourne being added. Flights from Adelaide have also been increased from twice a week to 3 times a week also beginning in June.
A representative of Virgin Blue said Bali is a popular destination for Australians and with an increase in connecting flight from Melbourne and Sydney the obvious step was to increase the direct flights to Bali.

Bali growth almost reaches 6%
In 2008 Bali’s economy grew by nearly 6 percent as reported by the Jarkata Post. It was seen as positive growth on the back of 5.92 percent in the 2007 period. Growth was slower than expected with Bali predicated to reach the 6 percent mark.
Taking into account the economic troubles in 2008, economists said the growth was considerably good. Nyoman Erawan and economist from the Udayana University said despite the hike in crude oil and recent economic crisis, this is pretty good.
