Established firstly in Indonesia is a body of ‘Tsunami Ready’ Hotels.  These hotels have all met the standards that required to be certified as being ‘Tsunami Ready’ hotels in Asia/Pacific and more hotels are meeting this standard and are being added to this list.

  Hard Rock Hotel Bali hosts the Bali Hotels Association [BHA] tsunami early warning system. From here warning messages are sent out to all connected hotels in case of emergency.

  Ramada Benoa Resort Bali was one of the first hotels in Indonesia getting ‘Tsunami Ready’. Its management takes security and safety very seriously. The hotel provided valuable input for the development of ‘Tsunami Ready’.  Ramada Benoa Resort provides shelter to the local community in case of a tsunami alarm.
• The Haven
  THE HAVEN Seminyak has been awarded with a Gold Certificate Award from the Safety and Security Standardization Verification Team from the Regional Bali Police Department. The Haven Seminyak trains its security guards well and is proud of its guard - guest ratio. The hotel is equipped with a wide range of emergency equipment in order to react to and to anticipate undesired situations. The Haven has created and trained a dedicated emergency response team and is connected to IPRC, a system that links businesses throughout Bali to the police via UHF radio.
