Established firstly in Indonesia is a body of ‘Tsunami .  These have all met the standards that required to be certified as being ‘Tsunami ’ hotels in Asia/Pacific and more hotels are meeting this standard and are being added to this list.

Idul Fitri Holiday – 2010

Idul Fitri would be on September 10th and 11th, 2010.

This is a Moslem Holiday New year Holiday, 1 Syawal, 1431 Hijriyah but it is a for all religion in . Before Idul Fitri is coming, Moslem must do a Fasting (Puasa)  for a month. Fasting will started at 05:00 am to 07:30pm (13.5 Hours). When fasting Muslim can not eat and drink and do the bad things like lying, bad rumours, etc. At the opposite it is suggested to do the good things, and praying to get closer to the God, creator of the world. Before Idul fitri, Moslem also need compulsory gift called “Zakat” to the poor people. This gift is compulsory for all Muslim, since baby till old people that still have something to eat for tomorrow. It is to build a sympathy deep in the heart.

as the Holiday destinations will busy on this Idul Fitri Days, It is consider as a High Season Period and most hotel will put additional Surcharge to stay during Idul Fitri Holiday. Some Hotel is create the Idul Fitri days package, to make guest feel the Idul Fitri day in Bali.

Idul Fitri is a primary holiday for Moslems in Indonesia, The public service like Bank, School, government office will close on this date. It is a moment to reunion with their families, especially families who apart for some reason, such as work or marriage, must be separated. Starting two weeks before Idul Fitri, Muslims in Indonesia start to busy thinking about the celebration of this feast, which is most important is Kampung “Mudik” or Go home, so the government also facilitated by improving the roads are impassable.

During the celebration, a variety of dishes served. The most popular dish in the celebration of Idul Fitri in Indonesia is the “Ketupat”(Rice boiled under the coconut leaf diamond wrap), which is very familiar in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore. For children, the parents usually give money to their feast. During the celebration, people usually visit the houses of neighbours or relatives to stay in touch, known as “Halal bi Halal”, beg forgiveness and forgiveness to them. Some state officials also held open houses for people who want to stay in touch.

Institute Seni (ISI) and professional staff from Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affair are involved in the classification and identification process.

Head of Bali Cultural Agency, Ida Bagus conveyed that Wali dances would be directly registered with the Unesco after the identification and classification process is completed. The aim of this registry for Balinese dances with the UNESCO would see no country ever claiming those dances anymore.
